My name is Hannah Darling and I run Darling Angels - a company to help people have happier days!   I aim to bring my positive energy to everyone I work with and to provide a high level quality treatment, maximising the time you have in treatment and tailoring individually to every client.  Working from a beautiful refurbished treatment room in Lemon Street in the heart of Truro, I provide a relaxing space for you to feel properly pampered.  I originally trained as an antiques valuer and since then have managed to notch up an impressive number of jobs over the years.  I then decided to retrain and over 15 years ago joined Truro College and gained qualifications in ITEC Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Reflexology.  Once I had the treatment bug, I have been adding new skills since then. Manicures, Pedicures, Facials, Pregnancy Massage, Eyebrow and lash tint and shape, eyelash extensions and lash lift, waxing and Hot Stones.

 

The main treatment I provide is the Vodder Method Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage which I have been training in both Britain and Ireland for the last 5 years to Level 2/3 with Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), an intensive program that combines many different treatment approaches, including bandaging,  compression garments, manual lymphatic drainage, exercise and self care.  This enables me to work with clients post cancer treatments, lymphoedema, lipoedema, pre and post surgery for liposuction, body lifts and for just wellbeing and immunity issues such as Long Covid and Fibromyalgia.

I also provide Deep Oscillation Therapy with Physiopod,  Deep Oscillation is clinically proven, electrostatic field therapy - delivered through vinyl gloved hands or special applicators and providing powerful yet gentle lymphatic drainage with a minimal amount of external pressure. It works on pain, swelling, bruising, inflammation, scar tissue, fibrosis and wound healing. Can be used immediately after injury, pre surgery to prepare tissue and from day one post surgery to enhance the natural healing process; promoting an earlier return to normal activity. It feels wonderful to receive and it is a very relaxing therapy.

It permeates an 8cm depth and can be used over pins/plates and prosthesis as no heat is generated.
